The VISION and Mission are to teach and train Prayer Ministers to: go, pray and tell! Luke recorded our model and Jesus gave us our commission. “The Lord appointed 72 others and sent them …to every town ( including your town!) and place He was about to GO.” He ( Jesus) told them “The Harvest is plenty, but the workers are few. Ask (pray) the Lord of the Harvest, to send out workers into the Harvest Fields. Go!” ...Heal the sick who are there and tell them, The KINGDOM OF GOD IS NEAR YOU. Luke 10: 1-9

Amos 9:13 says that the MOUNTAINS WILL DRIP WITH SWEET WINE and the plowman will overtake the reaper.

In John 15 Jesus clarifies what imperishable fruit is [fruit that lasts forever]. Christians are called and appointed to bear fruit that lasts. This is HARVEST: going where Jesus is going and bringing in the Harvest—souls and good works which will never perish, including healing the sick.

In 2 Core 5:10 “For we must all appear before the Judgement Seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him/her for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.” Our purpose as Christians is to collaborate with God in bringing forth the Kingdom of God. When each of us meets Jesus as believers we will give an account of how we spent our time on earth. We at Harvest Mountain believe that PRAYER MINISTERS GO AS HARVESTERS! And when we meet Jesus at the end of the age He will be looking for each of our fruit that lasts! “And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of nations. No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and the Lamb will be in the city and His servants will serve Him. ” Rev 22:2b, 3

Ministry Model:

Teaching and Training: offering informal workshops focusing on hands-on prayer training. At Harvest Mountain learn a little and use it a lot! Each session will include biblical theology. We believe in helping the “saints” decide what they believe and GO OUT and do it! Jesus preached the Word and you saw the corresponding WORKS. Jesus did His ministry mostly in the crowd.

Gentle is a key word in our philosophy of ministry: to assure all are loved and respected. However, we sincerely desire to exhort and stretch believers to PRAY on all occasions for healing, wholeness, freedom, sickness, salvation, fullness and to GO as called and commanded. Unity in the Body of Christ through the Gathering of the Healers: (prayer ministers) = Harvest Mountain believes we are called to bless and encourage all prayer ministries in Metro Denver. We will have a citywide calendar of prayer ministry events to:

1. promote others ministries

2. To help people link onto the site to go for prayer ministry or tell others where they could get prayer help.

3. To promote prayer events that include the wider body. These events would be prayer for healing and wholeness workshops or special healing prayer services, etc.
